Welcome to 3rd\5th Lancing Sea Scout
Group's website.
We are a Sea Scout group based in North Lancing in Sussex and take young people from 6 years old to 14 1/2 in 3 sections, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts. We are a very active group, having large fleet of sailing boats & Kayaks as well as other activities like camping & hiking, archery & rifle shooting.
What's going on...
Rememberance Parade was a bit different this year, Scout Leader Shaun Oliver held a virtual Rememberance Parade online with the scouts and all of the Scouts and Leaders paid their respects by standing outside their homes in their uniform for the two minute silence.

Supeta Launched
After a huge amount of work Supeta has now been launched and is moored up in shoreham harbour awaiting the final inspections to be done before it can be used.
Scouting Continues online!
Scouting hasn't stopped at 3rd 5th, all sections are continuing to host our weekly meetings online via zoom. We've been up to all sorts, from quizzes, cooking, bingo, sailing theory lessons to prepare scouts for when we are allowed back on the water, back to basics and map reading.
Kayaks Stolen
Between the 29th and the 31st of August our Kayakng compound was broken into with many Kayaks stolen all of our Spraydecks, most of our paddles, buoyancy aids, saftey gear and various other Kayaking and Canoe equiptment. If you see any of the Kayaks in the photos for sale please do not hesitate to get in contact with us or the police.
