From A-Z: Our Partnership with Żywiec
3rd/5th Lancing Sea Scout Group is proud to continue the twinning partnership between Adur and Żywiec, Poland.
Every four years, Żywiec Scouts journey to the UK for two weeks, usually joining the Scout Section on summer camp at Brownsea Island, Poole Harbour.
Żywiec Scouts then return the favour the following year, when Scouts from the Scout section are hosted in Poland.

In August 2019, 20 of our Scouts and five Leaders travelled enjoyed a 10 day stay in Poland. They completed many cultural activities including visits to Krakow Museum and Auschwitz I and II

Scouts were able to swap Scout scarfs with their Polish friends, many of whom they still keep in contact with today
​
We look forward the next visit of our Żywiec counterparts in Summer 2023!
